These terms cover your use of BatchFacts at https://batchfacts.com. By using the site you agree to them.

What BatchFacts is

A tool that builds a Nutrition Facts label and an ingredient list from USDA FoodData Central values and the FDA's published rounding rules, plus costing and lot records on paid plans.

You are responsible for your label

No tool or agency approves a label. The results depend on the ingredients and amounts you enter and on the USDA data we look up. Check every label against the current FDA rules and your own recipe before you print or sell it. BatchFacts is not legal, regulatory or food-safety advice.

Free and paid plans

The label maker is free. Paid plans (Starter, and Pro when it opens) are subscriptions billed monthly or yearly through Stripe at the price shown when you subscribe. They renew until you cancel. You can cancel any time from the Manage subscription link; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. See the refund policy.

Your data

Recipes and records you enter are kept in your own browser. Clearing your browser data, or switching device, can remove them, so export or print what you need to keep. See the privacy policy.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the site: no attacks, scraping at a rate that harms it, or use that breaks the law.

No warranty, limited liability

The site is provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, BatchFacts is not liable for losses from labels, costing or records produced with the tool, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it.

Changes

We may update these terms or the plans. Material changes to a paid plan will be emailed to subscribers before they take effect. Oklahoma law governs these terms.
